Mark Corcoran, CFA

Senior Equity Strategist

With twenty-nine years of experience in the investment industry since 1994, a 24-year tenure as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) starting from 1999 and armed with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs from the University of Puget Sound (1992), he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the financial realm. As the founder of three successful investment companies since 2003, his journey has encompassed diverse roles, including being a Prior Director of Private Client Research at D.A. Davidson & Co., overseeing the investment research for 350 Financial Advisors and $28 billion in Assets Under Management. His leadership as a Chief Investment Officer for various multi-billion-dollar AUM firms, membership in prestigious bodies like the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Portland, and engagements such as judging the CFA Institute Research Challenge and chairing the SIFMA Research Directors Roundtable have all contributed to his holistic understanding of the industry.

Beyond finance, Mark's commitment extends to community service, having served as a Board Member for the Oregon Repertory Singers and as a long-time supporter of public service organizations.

Mark Corcoran operates autonomously as an Equity Market Strategist, concurrently serving as the proprietor and operator of his own investment company. Mark is neither registered with nor directly associated with Colmina.
